This is turning out to be a year of international conferences and international travel. In March this year, I delivered a similar session at SQLBits in London. I blogged about it here: http://www.sqlservergeeks.com/blogs/AmitBansal/sql-server-bi/506/sql-server-speaking-at-sqlbits-march-2012And here: http://www.sqlservergeeks.com/blogs/AmitBansal/sql-server-bi/533/sql-server-my-experience-as-a-speaker-sqlbits-10-march-2012
In April, I delivered 2 session at GIDS – Great Indian Developer Summit. I blogged about it here: http://www.sqlservergeeks.com/blogs/AmitBansal/sql-server-bi/518/sql-server-2012-speaking-at-great-indian-developer-summit-gids-april-2012
Previous to the above two evnts, I attended the MVP Summit in Feb End & SQL BareMetal workshop in Jan end – all trips proving so fruitful from learning perspective. I blogged about the baremetal workshop here: http://www.sqlservergeeks.com/blogs/AmitBansal/sql-server-bi/477/sql-server-2012-baremetal-workshop-at-redmond-in-jan-2012-my-experience
I am yet to blog on the MVP Summit 2012 :(
More important than speaking is yet another opportunity to meet the vibrant SQL community coming from all over the world. I am told that the event is sold out and we expect more than 8000 geeks at the Orlando Convention Center. I love meeting the community, attendees, MVPs, MCMs, and SQL product team members – immense networking & learning opportunity!
I thank the TechED NA committee for selecting my session and giving me an opportunity to speak.
