First List of Break-Out Sessions at SSGAS2015

Dear SQLServerGeeks, the first list of the wonderful line up of Break-Out Sessions is out. After announcing the Experts and Masters from around the world, it’s time to bring you the first list of break-out sessions. There will be further additions to this list of speakers and sessions. As you go through the session list, here is a brief timeline on last one year around the great SSGAS2015.

Today I feel like we have achieved what we have dreamt about a year ago. A solid decision was made exactly a year ago about SSGAS2015 and today we are proud to see our dream turning into Reality.

Behind the scenes:

July 9th, 2014 – A decision has been made with all the core team members on call. “We will do the conference. No matter how much it costs I will bear all the finances. We will deliver sessions all three days even if it were only us six. We believe in the SQL community and we will make it work.” Are the words from Amit. Only one BIG Question in all our minds. Can we do this?

August 15th, 2014 – The revamped SQLServerGeeks.com site has been launched.

September 18th, 2014 – Ahmad, Prince, Kanchan and Manohar have started the One Day Blog Series.

October 1st, 2014 – The conference location and dates are finalized. The roadmap is laid out. Everyone got their share of work to do.

November 2nd, 2014 – Amit and Manohar attended PASS Summit 2014 and got a chance to meet the Expert and Masters across the globe to share our idea about the conference. The encouragement and support was tremendous.

December 20th, 2014 – Final layout of the conference details was ready and the decision to announce it in public was finalized. The great moment to face the reality was near.

When We Reached the Community:

January 17th, 2015 – We announced the Asia’s first Largest SQL Server Conference – SQLServerGeeks Annual Summit 2015

February 16th, 2015 – Session submission opened for SSGAS2015. Opportunity for everyone interested to speak at the Asia’s first SQL Server Conference.

   

March 6th, 2015 – Launched Brand Ambassador program – A unique way to give everyone opportunity to be part of this wonderful Conference.

April 29th, 2015 – Shared the unprecedented exciting response to the Annual Summit.

May 11th, 2015 – Started announcing our Pre-con speaker, an awesome way of providing the full day trainings.

June 1st, 2015 – Started SSGAS2015 Discussion Weeks and gave away four free passes to the winners.

June 2nd, 2015 – Started announcing our breakout sessions speakers. What a splendid lineup of Experts and Masters from around the world.

June 16th, 2015 – Started announcing the Microsoft speakers – The experts behind the product we love, SQL Server.

June 29th, 2015 – Announced the Star Keynote speaker, T K Rengarajan. No more words needed to say how big the conference has shaped into today.

July 1st, 2015 – SQLServerGeeks team has received two new SQL Server MVPs. This adds to the already great number of MVPs and MCMs who are speaking at the SQLServerGeeks Annual Summit 2015.

July 5th, 2015 – The first list of SQLServerGeeks Annual Summit 2015 Break-out sessions is out.

July 9th, 2015The BIG Question is answered. WE DID IT. And THANK YOU SQL FAMILY for making our dream turn into reality.
