MVP Summit 2012 – My experience

Hi Friends,

It is never late to blog about experiences πŸ™‚ – Yes, I am defending myself for blogging so late on my experience at this year’s MVP Summit. This just shows how busy I am πŸ˜‰ (Innocent grin)

The biggest motivation for me to attend MVP summits 2012 is networking with fellow MVPs from around the globe, apart from interacting with the Product Group at Microsoft. And this year was no different as I got to meet many new MVPs in SQL Server category and made new friends. The technical sessions, as always, were good and gave many insights into the product, which, at least for me, to gain otherwise would not have been possible. The reception dinner, community night & product group dinner was a great way to meet & greet fellow MVPs. And yes, the best of all was the SQL secret session πŸ™‚ – SQL MVPs know what I am talking about. Thanks to Chuck !

About Amit Bansal

Amit Bansal is always brainstorming around SQL Server. Despite working with SQL since 1997, he is amazed that he keeps learning new things every single day. SQL Server is AB's first love, and his wife does not mind that. He tries to share as much and spreads the SQL goodness. Internals and Performance Tuning excites him, and also gives him sleepless nights at times, simply because he is not a genius, but quite a hard worker and does not give up. It has been a long and exciting journey since 1997, you can read here: He is on Twitter:
