This is turning out to be a year of international conferences and international travel.

In March this year, I delivered a similar session at SQLBits in London. I blogged about it here And here;

In April, I delivered 2 session at GIDS – Great Indian Developer Summit. I blogged about it here;

Previous to the above two evnts, I attended the MVP Summit in Feb End & SQL BareMetal workshop in Jan end – all trips proving so fruitful from learning perspective. I blogged about the baremetal workshop here;

I am yet to blog on the MVP Summit 2012 🙁

More important than speaking is yet another opportunity to meet the vibrant SQL community coming from all over the world. I am told that the event is sold out and we expect more than 8000 geeks at the Orlando Convention Center. I love meeting the community, attendees, MVPs, MCMs, and SQL product team members – immense networking & learning opportunity!

I thank the TechED NA committee for selecting my session and giving me an opportunity to speak.

About Amit Bansal

Amit Bansal is always brainstorming around SQL Server. Despite working with SQL since 1997, he is amazed that he keeps learning new things every single day. SQL Server is AB's first love, and his wife does not mind that. He tries to share as much and spreads the SQL goodness. Internals and Performance Tuning excites him, and also gives him sleepless nights at times, simply because he is not a genius, but quite a hard worker and does not give up. It has been a long and exciting journey since 1997, you can read here: http://sqlmaestros.com/amit-bansal/ He is on Twitter: https://www.twitter.com/A_Bansal
